EastEnders viewers have been left intrigued by newcomer and ‘Lola lookalike’ Nadine after she made a debut on the BBC One soap on Monday
EastEnders fans think they have predicted a sinister twist involving newcomer and ‘Lola lookalike’ Nadine after she made a debut on the BBC One soap on Monday.
During the latest episode, Jay Brown returned to Albert Square after a night of walking having not been able to sleep due to grief after the death of his beloved wife Lola Pearce. Soap fans will recall that Lola tragically passed away in June, with the episodes airing in May, after her devastating brain cancer battle. Jay has struggled with the death of his wife and on Monday Jay was warmed as he met Nadine on his walk, who has a striking resemblance to Lola.
Later in the episode, the pair bonded but Jay soon learnt that Nadine is an escort to help her through university and he abruptly left after dropping her off to a client. Soap watchers have been quick to speculate that Nadine could in fact already have a secret link to one of Albert Square’s residents.
Viewers will recall that Theo Hawthorne has been making Stacey Slater’s life a misery. Theo’s true motive was finally exposed earlier this month, with Stacey realising that he was her online client and had been the one stalking her. She had been subjected to many horrors at the hands of the at-the-time unknown man, who had sent her flowers to her home, and even broke into her house and snuck into her bedroom and ripped up all her cam clothes.
In scary scenes, Theo trapped Stacey in her kitchen as he tried to explain why he’d been doing all these horrible things to her. And despite fans hoping this might be the last of Theo, the stalker took new worrying steps last week as he moved into the flat next to Stacey and her family, leaving Stacey even more terrified.
Soap watchers are now wondering whether Theo could be stalking or linked to Nadine too. Taking to social media, one person said: “So is new chick a cam girl or an escort? Cos if the former- is she involved with Theo? #EastEnders.” Elsewhere, some fans think she could be Emma Harding’s secret daughter therefore making her Lola’s long-lost sister.
Taking to social media, one person said: “Do you think Nadine is Emma’s daughter? #EastEnders” to which a different account added: “Nadine is either a figment of jay’s imagination or emma’s secret daughter (lola’s sister) #eastenders.”
