Michelle Keegan returned to the set of Brassic on Monday morning.
The former Coronation Street star, 36, who plays single mum Erin Croft on the show, chatted to a member of the crew while walking with a Dryrobe in her arms.
Dryrobes are a garment designed to permit changing anywhere: ‘Designed to let you get changed anywhere, the Dryrobe® Advance protects you from the elements, keeping you warm and dry in any climate.’
Her hair and make-up were picture perfect to get in front of the camera while she paired the look with a denim jacket with a shearline collar.
Her appearance comes as it was reported that bosses are planning a Brassic Christmas special, which will air this year, following the airing of the fifth season which is set for release later this month.
Michelle was beaming at her co-worker as she walked into the trailer for her day back on-set – although it is unknow if she was shooting series six or a special.
Original comedy Brassic follows Vinnie O’Neill (Joseph Gilgun) and his five friends, including Michelle’s single mum character Erin.
The group struggle to get by in the fictional town of Hawley, and often resort to petty crime for money.
When Dylan’s girlfriend Erin wants out to start afresh in a new town, Dylan is torn between following her or staying with the pals he thinks of as brothers.
A source told the publication of the festive special: ‘It feels like a long time coming but everyone is thrilled Brassic is getting a Christmas special after four years on the box.
‘It’s going to be a foul-mouthed, festive knees-up Brassic style – forget your fairytale, it’ll be more akin to Billy Bob Thonrton’s Bad Santa and The Grinch than your schmaltzy It’s A Wonderful Life.
‘The special episode is being filmed next month around Manchester and in Lancashire and the cast are super-excited to show what a Christmas in Hawley looks like for the gang of criminal misfits.
‘There will be some surprises in the mix too, including a big name one-off casting.’
The BAFTA-nominated series began back in 2019, as season four of the show was released last August on Sky Max and Now TV.
In February this year Michelle looked back on the busy time making series five by sharing a collection of behind-the-scenes snaps from the set as filming came to an end.
The actress shared that it had been ‘chaotic mayhem’ working with her co-stars on the Sky drama series, sweetly adding that she felt ‘so lucky’ to be part of the ‘special’ show.
Beaming alongside co-stars such as Aaron Heffernan and Lee Mack, who joined the show for the new series, for some snaps, others showed her with the production crew.
Love Island’s Lana Jenkins even made a cameo in the post as she was a make-up artist on the show, prior to her TV debut in the South African villa.
Sharing a glimpse into what goes on behind the cameras with her 6.3M Instagram followers, Michelle appeared off-duty while relaxing with cast and crew for the pictures.
As the roles were even reversed in others as she snapped the set’s camera operators in their natural habitat.
Taking to the caption to reflect on the filming, the brunette beauty penned: ‘Wrap on Brassic season 5!!!
‘Can’t believe how fast these past 6 months have gone, 6 months filled with chaotic mayhem, freezing cold locations and a whole lot of love & dedication. Feel so lucky to be working on such a special show. ✨
‘Can’t wait for you guys to see what we’ve been upto. Big love as always ❤️.’
Series four of the show aired last September, with the fifth instalment set to be released next month.
